The5ers Futures
Prices, Rules and the Fine Print
From $59, no activation fee, full refund at your third payout.
A ten-year-old prop firm entered the futures market with the cheapest credible entry ticket in the sector, no activation fee, and a promise to hand your evaluation fee back in full. Here is what holds up under inspection, and what does not. We found four different versions of the consistency rule.
A ten-year-old firm with no activation fee.
The5ers is not a new name. Five Percent Online Ltd has been funding forex traders since 2016 and now runs four brands under the same roof: The5ers, Trade The Pool, Trade Delicious and TSG Brokers. The futures arm is the recent addition, and it arrived with an unusually aggressive price list. A $25,000 evaluation is $59, a $100,000 one is $170, and nothing is charged when you pass.
That last point matters more than it sounds. A large share of futures prop firms advertise a low entry fee and then charge an activation fee of $100 to $150 once you clear the evaluation. The5ers charges none, and goes further by refunding the entire evaluation fee on your third payout. On a $25,000 Day Trade account, the whole exercise can end up costing zero.
The weakness is not the pricing. It is the rulebook. The consistency rule, the single mechanic that decides whether you are allowed to withdraw, is described four different ways across four official pages, with two of them flatly contradicting each other on whether daily profit is capped. That is the part of this review worth reading twice.
Who runs The5ers Futures.
The operating company is Five Percent Online Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom under company number 12553363, with a registered office at Enstar House, 168 Praed Street, London W2 1RH. The same entity operates the firm's CFD programs, and sits inside a group that also includes Trade The Pool, Trade Delicious and TSG Brokers.
Everything is executed in a simulated environment. The firm states this plainly in its own disclaimers: the capital allocated for evaluation is fictitious, and no trade reaches a live exchange. This is standard across the prop sector, but it is worth stating clearly because it defines what you are buying: a performance contract, not a brokerage account.
Two programs at a glance.
The two programs share the same risk parameters and account sizes. What changes is whether you can carry positions overnight, and what you pay to do it. Standard Swing prices are not published; all Swing figures shown are promotional Summer Plan prices.

Reach 6%, no hidden cost
Reach 6% profit without breaching a 4% end-of-day maximum loss. There is no minimum number of trading days published, and the firm explicitly allows you to pass in a single session, provided the consistency rule is satisfied. Nothing is charged beyond the one-off entry fee.
No activation fee, 80/20 split
No activation fee. The profit target drops to 4%, the 4% end-of-day loss limit stays, and the consistency rule continues to apply. The split is 80/20 in your favour and the firm states it never changes. Withdrawals are available on a fourteen-day cycle.
10% milestone, new account
Every time you hit a 10% profit milestone and close everything, the account is disabled and sent to the risk department. A new account is issued carrying over your earned profit, adding 5% buying power and one extra mini plus ten extra micro contracts. The published ceiling is $500,000.
Day Trade: full pricing grid.
These are the standard prices as published in the plan selector. The row is labelled simply "Price", with no struck-through figure and no promotional styling.

What you pay per dollar of buying power.
Comparing headline fees across account sizes tells you very little. The useful figure is what you pay per thousand dollars of simulated capital, and what the fee represents as a percentage of the profit you must produce to pass.
| Account | Day Trade Fee | Cost per $1,000 of Capital | Fee as % of the 6% Target |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $59 | $2.36 | 3.93% |
| $50,000 | $100 | $2.00 | 3.33% |
| $100,000 | $170 | $1.70 | 2.83% |
| $150,000 | $199 | $1.33 | 2.21% |
Drawdown: the end-of-day mechanic.
The maximum loss is 4% of the account, evaluated end of day, on both the evaluation and the funded account. Because it settles at the close rather than tracking tick by tick, an intraday excursion that recovers before the bell does not end your account. This is the single most trader-friendly parameter in the whole offer, and it is the reason the low entry fee is not simply a churn machine.
The mechanism that punishes unrealised gains
The floor follows your peak equity tick by tick. A trade that runs $2,000 in your favour and gives it all back has permanently moved your floor $2,000 higher. Traders lose accounts on days they finished flat.
Settled at the close, not on the peak
The loss level is recalculated once per day, after the close. A round trip from flat to $2,000 and back to flat leaves your floor untouched. You are judged on where you finish, not where you peaked.
Payouts, caps, and the fee refund.
80/20, fixed, every fourteen days
80/20 in your favour, and the firm states explicitly that it stays 80/20 on every future payout rather than improving or degrading with tenure. Withdrawals are available on a fourteen-day cycle once you are at the funded stage, and the cycle resets each time an account is scaled.
$1,250 on $25K; 3% of balance above
On the $25,000 account every payout is capped at $1,250. From $50,000 to $150,000 each payout is capped at 3% of current balance, so $3,000 on a $100,000 account by the firm's own worked example. The flat $1,250 on the smallest account is effectively 5% of its size, making it the most generous cap in relative terms.
3.5% on every method except Hub Credits
Rise, cryptocurrency and bank transfer are all charged at 3.5% of the withdrawal amount. Hub Credits carry no commission but can only be spent on new evaluations and cannot be withdrawn. Treat them as a discount voucher rather than as payment.
100% returned at your 3rd payout
Once your third payout on any funded futures account is processed, the full evaluation fee is added back to your equity. The firm confirms it applies to both Day Trade and Swing at every account size. On the $25,000 Day Trade account that is $59 returned on a $59 outlay.
BlackArrow, and only BlackArrow.
Platform preference is a genuine deal-breaker here rather than a preference. There is no published alternative. If your workflow depends on NinjaTrader, Tradovate or TradingView, The5ers Futures is not the right firm.
BlackArrow
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and web browser, with dedicated mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play. No alternative is published. Platform preference is a genuine deal-breaker here rather than a preference.
Broad instrument coverage
Equity indices (ES, NQ, YM, RTY, EMD, NKD and their micros), currencies (6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6S and M6A, M6E), metals (GC, SI, HG, PL, PA, MGC), energy (CL, NG, HO, RB, QM), agriculture (ZC, ZS, ZW, ZM), and crypto futures (BTC and ETH). That is a broader list than most futures prop firms publish.
$5.00 and $2.50 - but round turn or per side?
$5.00 on standard contracts, $2.50 on every micro symbol beginning with M. The e-mini crude and gold contracts are still billed at the $5.00 rate. The official table heads the column "Round Turn Commission" while the summary beneath it reads "per side", a factor-of-two discrepancy. Confirmed below in the contradictions section.
Advertised, not described
The firm markets a commission rebate in its page metadata but publishes no rule describing how it works, who qualifies, or what proportion is returned. Until that article exists, treat the rebate as unquantified and price your strategy on the full commission.
The rules that will get you removed.
Flat ten minutes before close
Every position must be flat at least ten minutes before the market close. On Day Trade this is absolute. On Swing it applies to anything above the overnight allowance. The ten-minute window is the constraint, not the close itself.
No HFT, algorithms or hedging
High-frequency trading, algorithmic trading and hedging are not supported. The firm states that any trader found using these methods will be removed from the program. That is termination language, not a warning.
Consistency rule: 40% per position
40% per position according to the live plan selector. Breaching it does not fail your account; it postpones your eligibility for a payout or a scale-up until total profit has grown enough to bring the outsized result back under the threshold. The arithmetic is your best result divided by 0.40.
Copy trading between your own accounts
Permitted only on the $25,000 and $50,000 accounts, up to $75,000 of combined size, and only between accounts you own, copying your own trades. Copying another trader, or letting anyone copy you, is prohibited.
News trading permitted
Trading through news events is allowed. This is stated on the program specification for both Day Trade and Swing, and it is one of the clearer differentiators against firms that lock the platform around scheduled releases.
No weekend holding
No weekend holding, on either program. The Swing program extends your horizon to the next session, not across the week. Any position open into the weekend close is a rule breach on both programs.

Strengths and limitations.
✓ Strengths
- The cheapest credible entry in the sector at $59 for a $25,000 account, with no activation fee behind it
- End-of-day drawdown rather than intraday trailing, the difference between a rulebook that funds traders and one that harvests them
- No daily loss limit at all on the $25,000 and $50,000 accounts
- The entire evaluation fee returned on the third payout, at every size and on both programs
- A fixed 80/20 split the firm commits to keeping unchanged
- Scaling to $500,000 with a published, arithmetically explicit mechanic
- News trading permitted on both programs
- Overnight holding genuinely available through the Swing program
- Broad instrument coverage across six asset groups including crypto futures
- A ten-year-old operating company with a registered UK entity, not a brand launched last quarter
- Copy trading between your own accounts, permitted up to $75,000 of combined size
- 14-day refund available if you have not traded
✕ Limitations
- Four different official descriptions of the consistency rule, two contradicting each other outright on whether daily profit is capped
- The commission table disagrees with itself on whether $5.00 is a round turn or a per-side charge
- Swing prices are promotional and the standard price is nowhere published
- A commission rebate is advertised in the metadata with no published mechanics
- BlackArrow is the only platform, with no alternative offered
- The payout cap of 3% of balance is restrictive relative to a 4% funded target
- 3.5% is charged on every withdrawal method except non-withdrawable Hub Credits
- No reset fee is published, so the cost of a failed evaluation is a repurchase at full price
- The maximum number of concurrent futures accounts is not published
- Detailed market hours for the futures product are not published
- The maximum loss calculation basis (initial balance or trailing equity) is not published
- The refund window is voided the moment you place a trade, which in practice is immediately
Is The5ers Futures worth it in 2026?
The5ers has built the futures product the way a firm builds when it already has a profitable business elsewhere and wants market share rather than churn revenue. The tell is the absence of an activation fee. Firms that need the evaluation to pay for itself charge on passing; firms that want funded traders on the books do not.
The risk parameters support that reading. End-of-day drawdown, no daily loss ceiling on the two smaller accounts, no published time limit, news trading allowed, one-day passes permitted. Every one of those choices costs the firm money in the short run and buys it traders who survive long enough to generate a split.
Then you open the help centre and find that the rule governing whether you can withdraw exists in four versions, one of which caps a $50,000 funded account at $900 of profit per day while another states in bold that no such cap exists. That is not a pricing problem or a product problem. It is an operational one, and it is fixable in an afternoon by whoever owns the documentation.
Our position is that the product is worth buying and the documentation is worth interrogating. Before your first payout request, write to support and get the consistency rule confirmed in writing, along with whether commissions are round turn or per side. Those two answers change your expected return more than any other variable in the offer. At $59 for a $25,000 account with the fee refunded on your third payout, the downside of finding out is close to nothing. That is, in the end, the argument for The5ers Futures.
