Nexgen ProTrader Funding
EOD Drawdown, No Daily Loss Limit
We read the pricing cards and the full knowledge base, then checked the arithmetic ourselves.
Two routes, one standout structural choice: no daily loss limit at any stage, and a drawdown that reads only closed balances. That combination is rarer than it should be. Here is what it costs, what you get paid, and where the offer becomes specific rather than universal.
Generous on risk, cautious on payout.
There is no daily loss limit anywhere in this program. Combined with a drawdown that reads closed balances rather than live equity, that is an unusually forgiving structure for a discretionary trader, and it is the single reason we rate the firm as highly as we do.
Nexgen ProTrader Funding LLC offers simulated futures accounts through two purchase routes and one invitation-only tier above them. Its documentation lives in the Nexgen Software Services knowledge base, which is unusually detailed for this corner of the industry and, to the firm's credit, publishes the drawdown arithmetic rather than gesturing at it.
Tickets are answered around the clock and live chat runs weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern, with a Discord community alongside. 94 countries sit on the restricted list. Canadian traders are served only in Alberta, Ontario and Quebec, with British Columbia considered at senior manager discretion.
Three routes, one risk model.
Every path uses the same EOD closed-balance drawdown and carries no daily loss limit. What differs is how you enter, how much you pay, and where the eventual ceiling sits.
Nexgen Rapid
A monthly subscription from $149 with a 6% target and a single-day minimum. Passing triggers a one-time activation fee and stops the billing. As many as ten may run at once.
Nexgen Instant
A single payment from $349 with no target and nothing to pass. Five qualified sessions stand between you and a first withdrawal. Three is the account ceiling.
Live Cash
Neither sold nor applied for. The risk desk extends invitations from Sim/Live results, generally once a trader is three to five clean payouts in. The split becomes 90/10.
Full pricing grid, both routes.
Contracts appear as minis and micros and do not differ between the two routes. The 6% target applies to Rapid only. The activation fee is charged once a passed Rapid evaluation converts to a Sim/Live account; Instant carries no activation fee.
| Size | Rapid /mo | Instant | Target (6%) | Max Drawdown | Contracts | Activation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $149 | $349 | $1,500 | $1,300 | 5 / 5 | $119 |
| $50,000 | $249 | $399 | $3,000 | $2,000 | 10 / 10 | $129 |
| $75,000 | $329 | $499 | $4,500 | $2,500 | 12 / 12 | $159 |
| $100,000 | $349 | $649 | $6,000 | $3,000 | 14 / 14 | $179 |
| $150,000 | $449 | $849 | $9,000 | $4,500 | 17 / 17 | $199 |
Rapid: no daily limit, no expiry.
Six percent of notional is neither generous nor punishing by prevailing standards. What sets Rapid apart is everything the firm chose not to impose. No daily limit, no expiry, no minimum activity, and a single qualifying session is enough to finish. In practice the evaluation tests whether you can produce a result at all, not whether you can produce it inside somebody else's calendar.
Instant: funded from day one.
Instant is the same account without the audition. You pay once, start immediately, and face ordinary funded conditions from day one: five qualified sessions before a withdrawal and the 50% single-day consistency rule. Three accounts is the maximum.
The drawdown that reads closed balances only.
The drawdown here follows closed end-of-day balances. An open position that swings $2,000 in your favour raises nothing, and one that swings against you lowers nothing. Only what you actually bank at the close moves the floor, which is a meaningfully kinder arrangement than the intraday version used elsewhere.
It trails
Each profitable close lifts the floor by the amount you gained. Losing days leave it untouched. Unrealised gains have no effect whatsoever on the drawdown calculation.
It reaches the locked balance
That figure is your starting balance plus the maximum drawdown plus $100, and the firm publishes it for every account size. The locked balance also doubles as the withdrawal threshold.
It stops permanently
Trailing ends at that point and never resumes. Later withdrawals do not set it moving again. A single figure governs both the end of trailing and the start of getting paid.
| Account | Maximum Drawdown | Locked Balance |
|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,300 | $26,400 |
| $50,000 | $2,000 | $52,100 |
| $75,000 | $2,500 | $77,600 |
| $100,000 | $3,000 | $103,100 |
| $150,000 | $4,500 | $154,600 |
Five qualified sessions, then you withdraw.
Withdrawals are governed by qualified sessions rather than elapsed time. A session qualifies only when it closes at or above the stated profit figure for your account size. A fortnight of small green days may still leave you short if none of them reaches the threshold. We treat this as the firm's real gating mechanism.
| Account | Qualifying Profit | Withdraw Above | Maximum Per Cycle |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $100 | $26,400 | $750 |
| $50,000 | $150 | $52,100 | $1,500 |
| $75,000 | $200 | $77,600 | $1,750 |
| $100,000 | $250 | $103,100 | $2,250 |
| $150,000 | $300 | $154,600 | $2,500 |
100% on Sim/Live accounts
Sim/Live traders retain the entire sum released in a cycle. Whatever sits above the cycle maximum is written off rather than carried to the next period, so there is no benefit to letting profit accumulate beyond the cap.
50% single-day cap on funded
No single day may supply more than half the profit in a payout period. This applies to funded accounts only and never during a Rapid evaluation. A single outsized day delays the request, it does not breach the account.
PayPal or Rise, both charging
Rise deducts a flat $50 per withdrawal. PayPal fees land on the recipient: the firm's own worked example shows $29.90 on $1,000 within the US and $44.90 sending to Asia, with roughly 1.5% more on the international leg. The minimum request is $250.
Veriff performs the KYC check
Identity verification is handled by Veriff before any withdrawal can be processed. Households may hold three active accounts without prior approval. Traders must be 18 or older with one email address per account.
Live Cash: invitation only, real capital.
Live Cash is discretionary and unadvertised. The risk desk moves selected traders onto real capital through GFF Brokers, with clearing at Plus500 and Rithmic connectivity. Invitations typically come once a trader has three to five clean payouts on the Sim/Live account.
The split falls to 90/10. Payouts run weekly on Fridays with a $250 floor, and the consistency requirement disappears entirely. Risk tightens in exchange: maximum loss is 3%, rising to 4.5% where several accounts convert at once, and trading is confined to MNQ, NQ, MES and ES. Every $5,000 of net profit above the lock earns one more mini or ten more micros.
TradingView officially, eleven others at your own risk.
All data arrives via CQG. TradingView is the only platform the firm will troubleshoot. Eleven others connect, but leave the configuration entirely to you.
TradingView
The only platform the firm will help you configure. Live data requires at least an Essentials subscription, a condition TradingView sets rather than Nexgen.
11 other platforms
Sierra Chart, CQG in both forms, Bluewater, DeepCharts, Agenda Trader, ZlanTrader, MotiveWave, BookMap, Jigsaw, Linn Soft and Go Charting. Support will not troubleshoot these.
CQG data feed
All market data arrives via CQG. The CQG client costs nothing. Sierra Chart requires you to purchase Denali data separately. CME Level 1 is included with an active subscription; Level 2 is not offered through the dashboard.
$5.00 RT mini / $0.50 RT micro
$5.00 round turn on a mini and $0.50 on a micro, applied once the 5:00 PM EST close has passed. The trade copier add-on costs $19.99 monthly. Evaluation resets fall between $59 and $99.
Broad instrument list
Indices: ES, NQ, RTY, YM and their micros MES, MNQ, MYM, M2K, plus NKD. Rates: ZB, ZN, ZF, ZT, UB, ZQ. FX: 6A, 6B, 6C, 6E, 6J, 6N, 6S with M6A and M6E. Metals: GC, SI, HG, QO, MGC.
Front month only
Energy: CL, HO, NG, RB, QM and MCL. Agriculture: ZC, ZS, ZW, ZL, HE and LE. Front month, highest-volume contracts only. Sim/Live resets run from $299 on the smallest account to $799 on the largest.
Six rules you need to know before trading.
Flat before 4:55 PM EST
Positions must be out five minutes ahead of the 4:55 PM EST close. A third breach closes the account. The margin is narrow and automated closing is prohibited, so manual attention at day's end is essential.
No offsetting positions
Across accounts, across correlated indices and across expiries alike. One breach is fatal. This covers hedging a long ES with a short MES as well as identical positions in different expiry months.
Manual orders only
Automated execution of any description is barred. Bots, expert advisors and algorithmic systems are all prohibited. Nobody else may trade the account. Reversing a position is permitted so long as contract size stays consistent.
Meaningful trades in payout periods
Half or more of your closed trades in a payout period must travel at least five ticks. This does not apply during an evaluation, only once funded and building toward a withdrawal request.
Exit with intent at half contract ceiling
From half your contract ceiling upward, leave on a stop or a target rather than a market order or closing the position manually. This applies at any stage of the account.
Five minutes after a limit reopening
Five minutes must pass after a limit-up or limit-down reopening before you may trade again. News trading is otherwise open, scaling and averaging down are allowed, and no reward-to-risk minimum applies.

Is Nexgen ProTrader Funding worth it in 2026?
What we like here is the honesty of the risk model. A trader is asked to reach a number, not to survive an arbitrary daily stop, and the point at which the drawdown stops chasing is published rather than buried. That combination is rarer than it should be, and it rewards the kind of patient discretionary trading most futures programs quietly punish.
Our reservations are all downstream of the profit. Cycle maximums are modest, surplus profit does not survive to the next request, and the two payout channels each take a cut. Add the automation ban and a support policy that stops at one platform, and the offer becomes specific rather than universal.
If you trade index futures by hand in TradingView, we think Nexgen ProTrader Funding is one of the more sensibly built programs available. If you run systems or need to withdraw at scale, it will frustrate you.
